Prospects Improve is successful because of our high quality expertise in school and academy improvement and our personal service. We offer schools the opportunity to develop a dedicated relationship where they select from a menu of ever-expanding activities and opportunities that will meet their needs. We have an excellent reputation for working with clusters or consortia of schools, offering advice and support on matters such as Community Cohesion, the Early Years Foundation Stage, parental involvement, governance and supporting children with learning difficulties.

Prospects Improvement Partners
We appreciate that over the course of the last few years, schools have become used to the additional benefits that a skilled external Improvement Partner can have in helping governors and headteachers to plan strategically to evaluate performance, identify priorities and plan effective change to raise standards of achievement for all pupils and students. We have introduced a new offer for schools and academies that will provide a long term sustainable relationship. We believe we can help you build capacity and improve on your school’s journey of improvement by working with one of our skilled and experienced advisers.

Prospects Schools and Academies Quality Mark
In response to requests from schools we have developed a robust improvement package that results in the achievement of the Prospects Quality Mark.
In order to achieve the award the school’s leaders, with the support of one of our advisers, work through a process of identifying their strengths and area for development. This rigorous initial assessment is followed up on a progress review visit when the adviser carries out an interim assessment of the progress so far, approximately three months after the initial visit. The adviser produces reports on what has been agreed and the school develops an action plan that includes key performance indicators. When the school is ready, usually after about six months, an assessor visits to evaluate the school’s success and achievements. The whole process includes intensive and bespoke support.

ASSET – Toolkit
Prospects’ ASSET is a toolkit that will help you to:
- Make accurate judgements about your school
- Contribute to your understanding and knowledge of inspection processes
- Guide you on producing evidence to support the judgements in your self evaluation

Becoming a Prospects Improve School
